ADPHA Uganda is an association for persons (women, girls, men and boys) with disability and their family members, therefore we are committed to Co-leadership for a lifetime of the our new strategy framework. We are in the period of transformation in the National Non
Government Organization and transition from a traditional model of leadership into one that one that is different and new with equal participation in decision making by most vulnerable groups, shifting power to women and girls living with HIV and those affected by TB who makes the highest percentage of the membership and beneficiaries. Co- leadership is present at both Chair Board and the Executive Director levels to enable us to have much better decision making with the organization.
We are excited to introduce our dedicated team of experienced professionals are at the heart of what we do, utilizing their unique skills and passion to move the work of our Non-Governmental Organization forward. Without them, ADPHA-UGANDA would not be where it is today. Meet some of our team members below.

DICK BUGEMBE
Co- Chairperson of the Board
Dick Bugembe joined ADPHA-UGANDA with the vision and drive to improve our Non-Governmental Organization and make our name synonymous with social change and human betterment. He has focused on developing the organization with great integrity.

RICHARD MUSISI
Co- Executive Director
Musisi Richard (Mr.) a Disability human rights promoter and Community development practitioner, with a bachelor’s Degree in Development studies and a Diploma in Mobility Based Rehabilitation.
An invaluable part of the ADPHA-UGANDA staff and leadership, Richard has witnessed the continued evolution of our programs from the start. He offers a unique skill-set that ensures undeniable impact.

JOSEPHINE NASSIWA
Finance and Administration Officer
Words cannot describe the role that Josephine has had in ensuring that ADPHA-UGANDA always stays on track. With Her continued dedication to her work, Josephine is our greatest asset in managing our finances.

NISSY NAMUYOMBA
Co- Executive Director
Nissy Namuyomba, is the Co- Executive Director at ADPHA Uganda and the chairperson of the Greater Masaka Association of Youth with Disabilities, She joined the organization in 2021 through the Tweyambe project. She works with partners and allies to foster long-term relationships and successfully deliver ADPHA's programme strategy.
Namuyomba, a skilled team player with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, is dedicated to creating an inclusive society for people with disabilities, HIV/AIDS, and TB. She excels in financial accountability and fostering a cohesive team spirit. Additionally she holds a certificate in Disability Justice Project Digital Storytelling Workshop, and a Certificate in International Youth Leader Training Seminar

CAROL NAMATA
Membership Development HIV ,TB &Malaria Intervention Officer
NAMATA CAROL is an enthusiastic, self-motivated, reliable, responsible and hard-working person with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and Social Administration.
She is a complete team worker and adaptable to all challenging situations. She is able to work well both in a team environment as well as using own initiative. She is able to work well under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines.
In her roles, Namata Carol ensures that ADPHA’s membership structures increase their capacity and strengthened through coordinating project implementation at cluster levels.

WILSON KUTAMBA

Communications Officer
Wilson Kutamba is a seasoned journalist, boasting a robust background in mass communication, honed through academic excellence and extensive professional experience. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, he has established himself as a versatile and accomplished media practitioner.
His illustrious career spans five years as a correspondent for the esteemed Daily Monitor in Masaka region where he demonstrated exceptional reporting prowess and journalistic integrity. Additionally, Kutamba has shared his expertise as a tutor of journalism and media studies at various reputable institutions in Masaka region , nurturing the next generation of media professionals.
Wilson's professional arsenal is distinguished by his:

- Confident communication style, facilitating effective stakeholder engagement.

Namiwanda Allena Patricia
Sexual Reproductive Health Rights and Youth Development Officer (SRHR)
Namiwanda Allena Patricia is a graduate from Makerere University with a bachelors in arts with Education (literature and English). She is the Sexual Reproductive Health Rights and Youth Development Officer (SRHR) at ADPHA Uganda, with experience in disability rights advocacy concerning Sexual Reproductive Health, confidence building, documentation of cases on SRH and making referrals of Persons with Disabilities to access SRH services.

DOROTHY NAKYANZI
Administrative Assistant
Dorothy Nakyanzi is an experienced Administrator working at ADPHA UGANDA as an administrative assistant . She is dedicated to supporting Persons with Disabilities living with HIV and affected by TB .
She excels in managing administrative tasks including scheduling , documentation and communication to enhance office efficiency and support organization efforts .
Her strong organizational skills and compassionate approach contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for both staff and clients .
She holds a diploma in Social Work and Social Administration.

ELIZABETH NDAGANO
Projects assistant
Elizabeth Ndagano .She is an assistant projects officer at ADPHA Uganda. Experienced in working with people with disabilities in various settings, advocating for disability rights regarding sexual reproductive health, building confidence of people with disabilities and supporting people with disabilities who are abused so as to get justice in courts of law.
